Grade Selections

Each of the three grades of Inferno Glaze refractory coating has a different temperature range and a different glazing temperature. It is imperative that the coating reaches its glazing temperature as an unglazed coating will not perform properly. After the coating has been glazed, it can be operated at any temperature below its maximum temperature.

Application Instructions

The coating should be mixed and applied so penetration of the coating into the pore structure of the refractory surface is obtained. If proper penetration does not occur, the coating may peel off. The coating can be applied by brush or spray gun. A coarse brush such as a wallpaper brush is recommended.
