In this two-day course, we will cover:

Day 1 – 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• Thermodynamics, Combustion Theory/Boiler Efficiency – where it all starts
• Boiler Types and Construction – what’s best for your needs?
• Boiler Operations & Maintenance – what do look for at inspection?
• Burner & Boiler Controls – why safety is important?
• Low Water Cut-Offs, Electrical and Flame Safeguards – components for safety

Day 2 – 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• The Steam System – Steam systems, water treatment, boiler feed systems/pumps and maximize efficiency with energy rebates.
• Hot Water Boilers – hydronic systems, system components, system maintenance-water care, circulating pumps and maximize efficiency with energy rebates.

*A continental breakfast and lunch are included and we will have morning and afternoon breaks. Attendees are responsible for hotel lodging booking and payment.
